Ingredients :-
- 2 cups macaroni
- 2 tbsp oil
- 2 onions (ground)
- 2 green chillies (ground)
- 2 tomatoes (ground)
- 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 rsp red chilli pdr
- 1½ tsp coriander pdr
- ¼ tsp cumin pdr
- salt to taste
- few coriander leaves (for garnishing)
Method:-
- Heat oil in a wok and add onion and green chilli paste.
- When onion turns light brownish in colour, add ginger-garlic paste, red chilli pdr, coriander pdr and salt.
- Stir continuously for 2 minutes
- Add in tomato paste and mix well.
- Cook on slow flame till oil separates.
- Add macaroni and water as per instructions on the packet.
- Cook till water evaporates and macaroni is done.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
Notes:-
- You may add chopped vegetables at the time of adding ginger-garlic paste.
- You may use grated cheese instead of coriander leaves for garnishing.
- Adjust the spices according to taste and preference.

DeleteI usually make a similar one, where I add capsicum, paneer and few more sauces. But your's look simple, quick and perfect for a meal. Very delectable, Nilu.

This recipe is really a saviour when you are short of time.... Sometimes I do make this in a pressure cooker when I'm in a hurry. After adding Macaroni and water, I pressure cook it just a little before it whistles... Thanks a lot Pavithra :-)
